Brian Sukarukoff
- President of Jokab Safety North America
Sukarukoff brings experience from the intensely competitive world of commodity industrial electronics to the GroupeSTAHL board. As a successful entrepreneur, he created a niche in electronic and mechanical safety applications and helped develop Jokab Safety into a business with a global footprint. GroupeSTAHL competes in a different industry, but under similar circumstances, as it considers opportunities to expand its digital decorating services and products. In 2010 Jokab Safety was acquired by ABB, one of the largest companies in the world. ABB purchased Jokab Safety because they were perceived as a leader in safety, and it is now their safety division for their machine controls group. Sukarukoff is now an acting manager with ABB and is responsible for the integration of Jokab into ABB and developing the marketing and sales channels in North America. He has also been asked to be a member of their global steering committee for product development. “I have always appreciated Brian’s ability to think outside the box when it comes to finding creative solutions for market expansion, developing international and intercompany synergies and branding,” says Ted Stahl, Executive Chairman of the Board and founder. “He is a visionary thinker—we have that in common. I look forward to his continued contributions to GroupeSTAHL.” Sukarukoff is a dual U.S. and Canadian citizen. He lives in Michigan with his wife Tammy of 26 years.
